The Service offered by Harvington Pre-School  
               
 
  • The pre-school is open 39 weeks each year.
  • We are closed during school holidays.
  • We are open 4 days each week
  • We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 and 5
  • Younger children, under 2 years old, are welcome to come to any session, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to introduce them to the group.
  • Although we are a registered charity, we do charge a fee for each session attended. All sessions booked are required to be paid for , half termly or weekly, this includes time your child is away through illness and holidays you may take during term time. We are registered to receive Nursery Grant funding from the Government; if you would like any information about this, please ask a member of staff or the Committee Treasurer.

  Extra session
If you would like an extra session for your child, please let the session supervisor know whether it is permanent or temporary, and we will let you know if there are vacancies on the session you want. Fees must be paid for the extra session.

Please let us know if you no longer want a session, so that we are able to offer the place to another child. Please let us have one month’s notice in writing. We reserve the right to ask for fees in lieu of notice. All outstanding fees must be paid for before your child leaves.

Links with Heron Nursery
Harvington Pre-School is able to offer wrap around care for children attending Heron Nursery. Children who attend Heron Nursery can be collecting by the Pre-School Staff at the end of their Nursery Morning. Parents/guardians are asked to send a packed lunch to Nursery with their child in the morning and staff will pick it up when they collect the children so that we are able to have lunch all together.
